Today the students showed their color team spirit for the Family Group Challenge. We competed against other family groups in various gym games.

Today was Rachel Durban's 18th birthday! We had cake for her and because it was the last night of camp, we had a little pizza party. It rained on us but we were used to it by this time because it rained all week. It was a great last night of camp!

Youth Minister of the Day

Tuesday, Rocky was chosen as the Youth Minister of the Day because he is the "Italian Stallion" and has mountains named after him. (Ever heard of the Johnson Mountains???) When they called his name, Rocky was in the balcony and sprinted to the stage. In the process of running up the stage stairs...he broke them! They fell over and Rocky went with them. It is impossible to describe how funny it really was but... you will soon get to see it for yourselves! Video to come...

Wednesday

Today in recreation we worked on Team Building. Everyone did a great job working together!

During morning celebration, Graham was called up on stage by Head Banger Harry to get a new hairstyle. We loved the new hair-do! Check out the pics, plus a few more from the day!

Tuesday

Yesterday was our first full day of Student Life Camp. We had a great time worshiping with Steve Fee and listening to David Nasser, the camp pastor. This week's camp theme is Here and Now. We have been learning that God is at work Right Here and Right Now in our lives and how to live for Him today.

We all go to Morning Celebration and then split up for Recreation and Family Group Time. The high school students participate in recreation in the morning and middle school students in the afternoon. Yesterday was the H2O challenge and there wasn't a dry student out there. Check out all the fun we had!
